Hyundai i20 I (PB) gallery (2008–2014)

The first-generation Hyundai i20 (PB chassis) debuted at the Paris Motor Show in October 2008 as the direct successor to the Hyundai Getz. Built on an all-new subcompact front-wheel-drive platform, the vehicle was offered in three-door and five-door hatchback body styles. The model placed a strong emphasis on passenger safety, earning a five-star Euro NCAP rating thanks to high-strength steel reinforcement and standard curtain airbags.

Powertrains comprised 1.2-liter, 1.4-liter, and 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engines alongside 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter CRDi turbodiesels. Transmissions included five-speed and six-speed manuals as well as a four-speed automatic. A 2012 mid-cycle facelift aligned the front fascia with Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture aesthetics, featuring hexagonal grilles and reshaped headlights.
