Hyundai H-1 I (A1) gallery (1997–2007)

The first-generation Hyundai H-1 (A1 chassis, badged as Starex in South Korea) debuted in 1997 based on Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear architecture. Featuring a semi-bonnet body design, the H-1 was offered in 7 to 12-passenger minibus configurations as well as a commercial panel van. It incorporated a heavy-duty rear-wheel-drive chassis with an available Part-Time four-wheel-drive system.

Engine technology included a 2.4-liter Sirius four-cylinder petrol engine and robust 2.5-liter D4BH/CRDi turbodiesels delivering up to 145 hp. Transmissions were 5-speed manuals and 4-speed automatics. A 2004 facelift revised the front grille insert, headlights, and front bumper moldings.
