The fifth-generation Honda Odyssey (RC1–RC4) launched in November 2013, combining the Odyssey and Elysion vehicle lines. It shifted to a tall MPV design featuring power sliding rear doors and available second-row luxury Ottoman reclining captain chairs.

Powertrains feature a 2.4-liter K24W direct-injection engine (175–190 hp) mated to a CVT, or the two-motor e:HEV hybrid system (215 hp combined). Major facelifts in 2017 and 2020 added a bold horizontal grille, full LED lighting, and gesture-controlled power doors.
