Holden Barina VI (TM) gallery (2011–2018)

The sixth and final generation Holden Barina based on the global GM Gamma II platform and Chevrolet Sonic.

The sixth-generation Holden Barina, designated TM, was sold from 2011 to 2018 and represented the final iteration of the storied nameplate, built upon General Motors' global Gamma II platform as a sister model to the Chevrolet Sonic (Aveo T300). Sourced from South Korea, the TM was offered as a five-door hatchback with hidden rear door handles and as a four-door notchback sedan. The standard powertrain was a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 115 horsepower, complemented in 2013 by the performance-oriented Barina RS featuring a 1.4-liter turbocharged Ecotec engine rated at 140 horsepower, lowered sports suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes. Transmissions included five- and six-speed manuals as well as a six-speed automatic. A major 2016 facelift replaced the raw motorcycle-inspired exposed headlamps with integrated units and introduced a 7-inch MyLink infotainment system before the nameplate was discontinued in 2018.
