The fourth-generation GMC Yukon was unveiled in late 2013 and launched for the 2015 model year on GM's K2XX platform (chassis code K2UG). The exterior adopted a sharper, more chiseled aesthetic with inset doors that reduced wind noise and improved aerodynamic efficiency.
