Geely EX5 I gallery (2024–present)
First generation of the Geely EX5 crossover, featuring fully electric, plug-in hybrid, and range-extender powertrains.
The first generation Geely EX5 was developed as a versatile global crossover built on the modular GEA (Global Electric Architecture) platform. The vehicle features a five-door SUV body design with a spacious five-seat interior, a low drag coefficient, and an independent suspension setup on both axles, providing a balanced combination of ride comfort, safety, and energy efficiency.
The powertrain portfolio consists of pure electric options, EM-i plug-in hybrids, and EM-R range-extender serial hybrid variants. In the EM-R configuration, a 1.5-liter 99 hp petrol engine acts purely as an electric generator for the traction battery without driving the wheels directly. Propulsion is handled by a front-mounted electric motor producing 218 hp and 262 Nm of torque, delivering 105 km of pure electric driving range and up to 1,000 km of total combined range.
The cabin architecture of the first generation features a minimalist dashboard with a 15.4-inch high-resolution infotainment screen, an available head-up display, ambient lighting, and an optional 16-speaker Flyme Sound audio system.
