The subcompact front-wheel drive crossover Geely Coolray with code SX11 entered production in 2018, marketed in China as the Binyue and assembled also as the Proton X50 and BelGee X50. It served as the launch model for Geely's modular BMA platform engineered with Volvo input. Engine options include a 1.5 liter turbocharged three cylinder delivering up to 177 horsepower and a 1.5 liter four cylinder turbo producing 172 horsepower, paired with a seven speed wet dual-clutch transmission. Exterior features include an aggressive front bumper, dual roof spoiler, and quad exhaust tips. A sport oriented chassis calibration paired with responsive steering offers agile handling and an engaging driving experience in dense urban traffic environments.
