Ford Capri IV EV gallery (2024–present)

In July 2024, Ford revived the legendary Capri nameplate for a fully electric mid-size coupe crossover. Developed through a strategic partnership with Volkswagen Group, the vehicle utilizes the modular MEB platform and is assembled at the revamped Ford Electric Vehicle Center in Cologne, Germany. The design incorporates subtle heritage cues from the original Capri coupe, including quad LED headlight DRL graphics, a sloping roofline, and C-pillar window contours.

The Capri EV offers single-motor rear-wheel-drive (286 hp) and dual-motor all-wheel-drive (340 hp) configurations. Battery capacities ranging from 77 kWh to 79 kWh provide a WLTP driving range of up to 627 km (390 miles). Standard features include a 14.6-inch adjustable SYNC Move touchscreen display, sport seats with integrated headrests, and a comprehensive suite of ADAS safety systems.
