About this generation

The last generation of the Dakota pickup, with an emphasis on improved safety and a modern interior.

The third-generation Dakota retained its best qualities while gaining a more modern and comfortable interior. The pickup offered various cab configurations, making it a versatile tool for families and work needs. Despite increasing competition in the segment, the Dakota remained true to its principles, offering V8 power and a reliable 4WD transmission.
