The sixth generation revived the Charger name, transforming it into a four-door sedan on the Chrysler LX platform. The car was the answer to market demand for affordable yet powerful family vehicles. With HEMI V8 engines and aggressive styling reminiscent of the classic 60s models, the sedan quickly gained popularity.
