About this generation

The third-generation X6 features the Iconic Glow illuminated kidney grille, air suspension, and high-tech cabin luxury.

Launched for 2020, the G06 X6 debuted a commanding design language headlined by the available Iconic Glow illuminated kidney grille. Sharp BMW Laserlight headlight optics and wide-stretched LED taillights accentuate its dramatic road stance. Underpinned by the flexible CLAR architecture, the G06 offers two-axle air suspension with automatic self-leveling alongside Integral Active Steering for superior low-speed maneuverability and high-speed stability on highways.

The interior exudes high-end opulence, featuring CraftedClarity glass gear selectors, a Sky Lounge panoramic glass roof, and dual 12.3-inch Curved Displays. Dynamic performance is fueled by TwinPower Turbo inline-six and V8 engines equipped with 48V mild-hybrid integration in later updates, topped by the ferocious X6 M Competition producing up to 617 horsepower. The G06 continues to define high-performance luxury coupe crossovers.
