Arriving in late 2011, the F30 generation introduced headlights extending all the way to the wider kidney grille, creating a low-slung, focused face. The family expanded with the hatchback Gran Turismo (F34), while coupes spun off into the standalone 4 Series family.
Standard turbocharging across four- and six-cylinder engines, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivered impressive fuel efficiency and swift acceleration. The F30 prioritized cabin space, long-distance comfort, and customizable drive modes.
