About this generation

The flagship Audi Q8 (4M8) coupe-crossover brought bold Ur-Quattro design cues, frameless doors, and MLB Evo engineering.

Unveiled in mid-2018, the Audi Q8 (chassis code 4M8) took position as the flagship coupe-SUV of the Ingolstadt lineup. Built on the MLB Evo architecture shared with top-tier luxury SUVs, the Q8 features frameless door glass, an imposing octagonal Singleframe grille, and muscular rear d-pillars inspired by the legendary Ur-Quattro rally icon.

The five-seat cabin incorporates dual MMI touch response glass touchscreens, Audi virtual cockpit, and available Bang & Olufsen 3D Advanced Sound. Engine options span 3.0 TFSI V6 and 3.0 TDI V6 powertrains equipped with 48V mild-hybrid technology, plus high-efficiency TFSI e plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants paired with standard adaptive air suspension and quattro AWD.
