See the Production Version of Renault Oroch Double Cab Pickup Truck

Spies at FlatOut Brasil managed to capture a Renault Oroch double cab pickup truck without camouflage.

Dacia unveiled its Oroch concept in October last year at the Motor Show in Sao Paulo (Brazil). It looks like Renault, its parent company, is almost ready to present a production variant with a diamond logo. Recollecting that Dacia offerings are sold in Brazil as Renaults, this makes sense. Spies caught the vehicle on the streets of Brazil. They saw a process of shooting the advertisement for the vehicle before its official presentation which will take place towards the end of the year.

The model under consideration will be based on the Duster. It will be equipped with the normally aspirated 2.0-litre V4 petrol engine matched with a 6-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission with optional four-wheel drive.

The Dacia Oroch concept seemed to be ready for production. Therefore, only several minor styling changes were brought into the car. There is no information if Dacia will receive a road-going variant. Romanian coachbuilder Romturingia started offering a double cab pickup truck conversion for the Duster as it can be seen in a whole bunch of photos taken sometime earlier this week.
