Infiniti Ultra-car will be Released in 2017-2018
Infiniti is still evaluating the motor layout for its halo ultra-car, it is rumored that the project is back and is planned to kick off in 2017-2018.
According to the Infiniti’s European chief, Fintan Knight, the Japanese company is still negotiating whether the ultra-car will utilize a front- or mid-motored layout.
Regrettably the halo version isn’t the main priority for Infiniti, which is working hard to produce the rest of its lineup sporting its fresh nomenclature, which features the G37 Coupe substitute, the Q60 and a compact vehicle named the Q30.
It is likely that the ultra-car will be constructed with feedback from Infiniti’s cooperation with the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team. The company has hinted in the past as to what its ultra-car will look like in terms of fashion with its Essence and Emerg-e versions. There’s also a high probability that Infiniti will choose a hybrid V6 powerplant for its exceptional model, to mirror a Formula 1 powertrain.
