Hyundai shows off Enduro CUV concept at the Motor Show in Seoul
Hyundai is showing off the interesting Enduro CUV (crossover utility vehicle) at the Motor Show in Seoul.
The automaker says that they combine the design of a standard SUV with a rally motorcycle. The vehicle was created for people who live in big and busy cities. The body is rather peculiar. It has beefy plastic cladding on its wheel arches which helps the car to have an outlook of a huge bug.
The vehicle can boast an enhanced suspension and uniquely shaped lighting clusters which feature LEDs. At the same time the side skirts have built-in step bars which made loading and unloading of the roof rack more comfortable. The lower parts of the vehicle received a dark grey finishing. There is a special air-blade on the C pillar which was added to reduce drag.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to have a look at the interior at the moment. The producer reveals that the centre console and dashboard use a combination of vertical and horizontal elements. At the same time the instrument cluster stores an enormous quantity of information in a built-in screen aimed at reducing distractions. The helm received the handle moulding and spoke of a road bike. As to the door handles, they have a lightweight cowl picture of an off-road bike.
The company’s HND-12 Enduro concept has 4271mm in length and 1852mm in width. It is 1443mm tall and has a 2650mm wheelbase. The model is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine which sends power to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
The automaker did not reveal if there will be a production variant for the concept.
