First Look at the New 2026 BMW M2 CS

After plenty of rumors and spy shots, BMW has finally revealed details of its anticipated M2 CS. On Friday the company released the first images of the car ahead of its official debut, expected next week – and it already looks stunning.

BMW has not yet released specifications or performance figures, but the design can be studied closely. Like other CS models, the M2 CS gets a number of styling upgrades to improve its looks and performance.

The new front bumper has extra air intakes and winglets, while the rear stands out with a large ducktail spoiler. Also visible are gold wheels – a signature of BMW CS models – and red brake calipers. Unlike the M3 CS and M4 CS with their racing stripes, the M2 CS wears a restrained matte grey finish. One of the interior images shows a CS badge, sport seats and plenty of red accents.

There is no power figure yet, but last year's rumors suggest a turbocharged inline-six under the hood making up to 518 horsepower. The M2 CS is also rumored to remain rear-wheel drive, setting it apart from the larger xDrive all-wheel-drive models. The car is expected to be offered only with an automatic transmission, which is somewhat disappointing given that the previous M2 CS was also available with a manual.
