Farewell to the BMW M8 Coupe
BMW M8 Coupe Exits US Market
BMW enthusiasts have learned that the M8 Coupe has been silently removed from the configurator in the United States. According to BMW spokesperson Jay Hanson, dealers are no longer taking orders for the high-performance coupe. However, the convertible and the M8 Gran Coupe sedan are still available for purchase. The sedan variant is also offered as the Alpina B8, providing alternative options to the M5. Notably, BMW previously produced an M8 prototype in the 1990s with impressive power and performance. However, it never made it past the prototype stage. As for a third-generation M8, reports suggest that the entire 8 Series lineup may be retired in 2026, signaling a potential end of an era for BMW.
