Exploring the Influence of Italian Design at BMW

Germany's Munich is set to host a unique exhibition that pays homage to the significant impact of Italian talent in the automotive industry. From March to September 2025, BMW will present an exhibition at the BMW Museum, showcasing the influence and contribution of Italian designers throughout its history. Organized in collaboration with BMW Group Classic, this exhibition will take visitors on a captivating journey through the iconic models that bear the distinguished marks of talents like Giorgetto Giugiaro and Marcello Gandini.

Exploring Beyond Cars

Titled 'Italian car design at BMW,' the exhibition goes beyond just showcasing vehicles. It delves into the personal stories of designers, the design challenges they faced, and the groundbreaking innovations they introduced. This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to discover how the infusion of Italian design has played a defining role in shaping the brand identity of BMW over the years. Highlighting notable models such as BMW Garmisch, a stunning 'Italian-style' 5 Series designed by Marcello Gandini, and Giugiaro's masterpiece M1, the exhibition is a testament to the incredible design legacy.

A Digital Journey

Starting from March 2025, visitors will also have the option of experiencing the BMW Museum's permanent exhibition in a cutting-edge digital format. The new digital experience, called BMW DigiTour, will allow visitors to personalize their interactive tours using their smartphones or tablets. More details about this innovative offering will be revealed in the coming months.
