Experience the Thrill with Hyundai Ioniq 5 N DK Edition

Hyundai's Electric Performance

Hyundai has always managed to captivate us with its innovations, and even in the transition to all-electric performance, they continue to impress. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N DK Edition, developed in collaboration with drifting legend Keiichi Tsuchiya, is designed to deliver an exhilarating drifting experience.

A Legend in Drifting

Keiichi Tsuchiya, also known as the Drift King, is renowned in the world of drifting. He played a pivotal role in making drifting a popular motorsport in Japan. The DK Edition pays homage to Tsuchiya's legacy and incorporates his expertise in its development.

Upgrades for the Ultimate Drifting Experience

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N DK Edition comes equipped with a range of enhancements to enhance its drifting capabilities. The six-piston monoblock calipers are paired with brake pads that provide 54% more surface area for improved stopping power. The car is fitted with H&R lowering springs to lower its center of gravity, and a specially designed 21-inch wheel with a sawtooth structure for better tire grip during high-speed spins.

Aesthetics and Functionality

On the exterior, the DK Edition features carbon fiber components including a new splitter, side skirts, and rear wing. These not only enhance the car's appearance but also generate real downforce, improving grip and stability at high speeds. The green accents on the car pay tribute to Tsuchiya's iconic all-green racing suit.

A Special Collaboration

Park Jun-woo, head of Hyundai's N division, highlighted the significance of Tsuchiya's involvement in the Ioniq 5 N DK Edition's development. The car combines Tsuchiya's driving expertise with Hyundai's technological prowess to deliver an exceptional driving experience for enthusiasts.

Availability and Price

The Ioniq 5 N DK Edition is set to launch in Korea and Japan in the first half of 2025. However, details regarding pricing and production numbers have not been disclosed. As is often the case with niche special editions, it is unlikely to be available in the American market.

An Invitation from Tsuchiya

Tsuchiya expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating that he has been impressed by the Ioniq 5 N and hopes that drivers will experience a new level of enjoyment with the DK Edition.
