Nissan Townstar - a new van for Europe
Nissan will replace the NV200 and e-NV200 vehicles with the all-new Townstar van.
The company will also update other commercial vehicles in the van lineup.
Nissan presented the latest generation of light commercial vehicles the day before, where the first one is Townstar. The novelty has received both petrol engine and fully electric BEV unit.
Nissan Townstar has acquired a commercial and "combined" passenger version. The gasoline-powered version is powered by a 1.3-liter engine that meets Euro-6d standards. Its power is equal to 130 "horses" and 240 Nm.
The EV version gets the same unit but with 122 hp and 245 Nm. Nissan says the Townstar EV travels 283 km on a single charge.
In Europe, the Nissan Townstar will be available by the end of the year.
