Hyundai has demonstrated a new type of airbag
Hyundai Motor Group has created the latest type of airbag.
The protective element begins to work between the driver and the passenger, who is on the front row, thereby preventing possible head injuries.
The central side airbag mounted on the driver's seat side, and it usually works when a shock is detected. To make an airbag, Hyundai used a new patented technology that allows you to leave a sufficient level of strength, immediately reducing size and weight. The novelty is 500 g lighter and more compact than offers from competitors.
The appearance of such airbags will help Hyundai to demonstrate excellent results in the latest Euro NCAP test series. We add that the next year they will evaluate the safety of a car during a side impact.
