Meet Larger Battery For Nissan e-NV200

Nissan has presented an upgraded e-NV200 van. The unit features a larger battery and quicker charging.

Even though the unit reminds of the already familiar vehicle from the exterior, the e-NV200 update features a 40 kWh battery instead of the 24 kWh unit that is offered now. It also makes for a zero-emissions range of 300 km per charge.

The new battery will enable the unit operating for 15 hours in Power Plug mode. It will provide 1000W of juice. According to the automaker, you will be able to sue it to supply with power a house shops or office in an emergency.

If you rub flat, the included charge plug provides 6kW in favour of 3 kW. This will help dropping charge time to 8 hours.

You will also get an 8-year, 160,000km warranty. Earlier, the 5-year, 100,000km one was offered.
