BMW improved the engines for X3 and X4

BMW carried out the announcement of innovations on the European line in 2018.

X3 and X4 have new motors, while the 1-series hatch will receive the Edition Metropolitan version, plus several standard equipment in the models will have an 8-band automatic transmission.

In the X3 family of crossovers a new version called BMW M Performance M40d appeared. This machine is set in motion by a row-type 3.0-liter V6, which develops 326 "horses" and 680 Nm. X3 M40d dials the first hundred kilometers per hour in 4.9 seconds.

X4 crossover will also receive a new version - xDrive30d. This machine is driven by a 3.0-liter diesel engine for 265 hp and 620 Nm, which interacts with the 8-speed automatic transmission. 100 km per hour are given to car for 5.8 seconds.
