Audi and Airbus tested the first flying taxi
The Drone Week event, which Audi, Airbus, and Italdesign held in Amsterdam, became the venue for the working prototype debut of a flying taxi Pop.Up Next.
The service concept shown includes an autonomous electric car, a drone, and a removable passenger module.
This prototype is considered only a copy of the 1: 4 scale. Audi thinks that in the next 10 years, the company's customers will be able to use a new service. Flying taxis will appear in big cities as an alternative to simple taxi stations.
Business models are important for Audi, so the company and the service commissioned by helicopter Voom engaged in tests in South America.
