Will VW Send Akrapovic-Equipped Golf R Performance In The US?

VW has launched the Golf R Performance on the old continent not long ago. This is an extra special Golf R boasting an Akrapovic exhaust set-up, bigger brakes and extra slippery body panels. 

Will it appear in the U.S., though? Launching the facelifted Golf in Michigan, a specialist told that the U.S. branch of the company is considering the potential of bringing the vehicle to the U.S. 

He is sure that would be fun. Even though, this is not for sure, but probably is possible. The thing is that with a strong aftermarket, customers could choose to fit their own aftermarket parts rather than purchase the automaker’s ones.
