IIHS Top Safety Honours Audi A3 For Upgraded Headlights

A correct rating from the IIHS can be earned with the help of 2 headlamp options for the compact high-end vehicle. This will raise the unit from a Top Safety Pick to a Top Safety Pick + award winner. The model features a regular superior-rated front crush prevention set-up. However, the LED headlamps on the Prestige trim and the optional LED lighting pack on the Premium Plus trim were able to help the vehicle to receive the highest honours from IIHS.
The HID lights that are available on the Premium and the Premium Plus trim (the lowest-level ones) without the LED lighting do not work for the rating.
