2018 Audi Q8 spied almost completely undisguised
Audi has entered the final stage of developing a new crossover - the flagship Q8. The prototype of the model was noticed on the roads of Germany in a serial body and almost without camouflage.
Judging by the photos, the design of the car will almost completely repeat the eponymous concept presented at the last motor show in Detroit.
Small changes touched the rear of the car, door handles became slightly different, the side mirrors became larger. Frameless side windows remained in place, the sporty silhouette of the car also survived.
In technical terms, the Q8 will not differ from the Q7 crossover. At the same time, a sports version called SQ8 can get a 4.0-liter diesel V8 with a payload of 430 horsepower.
Issue Audi Q8 will be at the same factory concern Volkswagen in Slovakia, where they now collect cars Volkswagen Touareg and Audi Q7. Production Q8 will begin in 2018.
According to preliminary data, the price tag of the new flagship crossover in the top modifications will exceed 100,000 euros. By the way, according to the results of 2016 Audi Q7 became the best-selling brand in the European market. More than 5 thousand customers made their choice in favor of premium crossover.
