The facelifted VW Golf was revealed this year and now the German producer has shared the official info about the most powerful and the base versions of the vehicle.
The Golf R sits at the top of the range. Its power will be boosted by 10 hp. Therefore, totally the car will have 310 hp and will be as powerful as the limited-edition Golf GTI Clubsport is. The mass production Golf will be possible to obtain as an estate and a hatchback. Its torque stands at 295 pound-feet. The power is sent to all 4 wheels with the help of FWD. The Golf R hatch will be priced at €40,675 with manual transmission in Germany. Meanwhile the automatic variant stands at €44,800. The base Golf 1.0 TSI Trendline is price at €17,850.
