Airbag Fault In Hyundai Genesis Coupe
Hyundai is making a recall for its 2010-2016 Genesis Coupes. There is an issue with the passenger sit air bag sensor.
Totally, 84,000 vehicles are falling under the recall. The electrical connector in the passenger seat can influence the airbag and it will fail to work when needed. In case the connector will be undone, the airbag can possibly inflate when a kid is in the seat. It also can deploy with too little force for proper protection of a grown-up.
According to the automaker, there were no any injuries reported.
The automaker’s dealerships will fix the wiring so that it stayed connected.
