5-Year/100K Mile Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty for Nissan Titan Range

Nissan is presenting a new warranty for the whole Titan pickup truck range. The next year’s Titan and Titan XD will have a five-year/100,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. It’s the most comprehensive one among the pickup trucks, by the way. The Ram 1500, Ford F-150 and Chevy Silverado will get 3-year/36,000-mile warranties as regular.

The warranty will spread on all trucks in the Titan range along with 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive configurations (as well as with petrol and diesel engines).

The automaker presented this warranty for the range of commercial vans in June of 2014. Sales of the NV200 cargo van rose by 17% in July. Meanwhile the whole van range received a 10% sales boost.

The Titan XD can be obtained as a crew cab now. It features a 5.0-litre diesel eight-cylinder or 5.6-litre gas-powered eight-cylinder. The Titan half-ton will also have a crew cab version even though single cab offerings have been announced and will come out at the end of this year. In 2017 expect king cab versions to appear in the line-up.
