2017 VW e-Golf Will Have More Range And Power

The revised Golf was announced to the public last week. It will debut in the U.S. along with the VW e-Golf.

The latest VW Golf will have a bigger battery and an enhanced motor that provides more power, more speed and almost 50% more range. An innovated lithium-ion battery the next year’s e-Golf will be able to ride 124 miles on a single charge.

An upgraded motor will produce 134 hp and torque of 214 pound-feet thankfully to the bigger battery. The e-Golf sprints up to 60 mph in 9.6 seconds.

The SE and SEL trims will be regular along with the 7.2 kw on-board charger. So, the model will be completely charged in even less than 6 hours. You can also choose the DC Fast Charging. Then the battery will be charged up to 80% in an hour (at a fast charging station).

The model will be marketed in the second part of 2017.
