2017 i20 WRC Competitor From Hyundai
Hyundai will preview the i20 race vehicle at the Motor Show held in Paris.
It will rival in the next year’s FIA WRC. The vehicle originates from a 3-door Hyundai i20 WRC producer’s classification with 201 points.
The 2017 WRC regulations allowed a lot to team designers and Hyundai Motorsports features a wide testing program for the final part of 2016. Then it will be reborn into the i20 WRC race vehicle and be shown at Rallye Monte-Carlo next January.
Besides aerodynamics, the 2017 WRC regulations allow having more power (up to 380 hp). The producer from Korea says that the livery that is presented at the Paris Motor Show is just temporary.
