Sport Cabriolet Concept GTE was interpreted as a Replacement for Volkswagen Eos

The Volkswagen Sport Coupe Concept GTE became a cabriolet thankfully to Theophilus Chin.

The interpretation is just a styling exercise since VW has stated that a successor for the slow-selling Eos is not being developed. Even if the automaker planned it, the vehicle would not be originated on the Sport Coupe Concept GTE, because it is much bigger than the Eos. We remind you, that the first one is 4869mm long and the second one is 4422mm long.

The outgoing Eos will go on pension in May or in June. The automaker has not been taking orders for the hard-top convertible since the second part of March. The model will get the axe as Heinz-Jakob Neusser, the company’s technical chief, announced several months ago that other vehicles will be eliminated. This happened after he was criticized for an overcrowded vehicle range.
