NHTSA Investigates Problems with Nissan Versa
NHTSA has started a preliminary investigation into almost 360,000 Nissan Versa Sedans and Versa Notes.
The problem begins from a trim panel. It covers the carpet to the right side of the accelerator. The last one can come loose. This will do not allow the driver to move his or her right foot. NHTSA received two dozen of complaints connected with the problem. The problem touches model years from 2013 to 2015.
The investigation might lead to a recall if a systemic problem is found. Nissan is also looking into the issue and is fully cooperating with regulations of safety.
