Hyundai Veloster Turbo Facelifted in South Korea with Seven-Speed Dual-Clutch Transmission

The Hyundai Veloster Turbo has gained a modest design update and some mechanical upgrades in South Korea.

There were a few minor exterior tweaks added to the facelifted Veloster Turbo which is already ready to be ordered. There are fresh alloy wheel styling, silver trim on the radiator enclosure, slightly changed fog lights and updated headlamps graphics among them. As to the cabin, there are new sporty seats. Besides, the seats can be obtained in three colour finishes.

Moreover, the 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo will be sold with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The last one was presented not long ago on the i30 Turbo. The Veloster Turbo is equipped with the 1.6-litre T-GDi turbocharged petrol V4 producing 204 hp (or 150 kW). At the same time its European variant is rated at 186 hp (or 137 kW).

The revised Veloster Turbo has gained a powertrain sound equalizer. It gives the driver an opportunity to choose from one of the six sounds of the engine.
