Hyundai Equus of 2016 Seen Close in Northern Scandinavia

The third-generation Equus was spied during testing in northern Scandinavia.

The Hyundai Equus of the second generation came out back in 2009. Nevertheless, it was facelifted in 2013, the full-size RWD sedan of enhanced comfort is showing its age. Luckily, the automaker is testing a model which will replace it. According to the spy images, it is in an advanced development stage. The innovated vehicle should be more appealing than the current offering. Moreover, Peter Schreyer is a design director of Hyundai now. It is known that he has been doing a fantastic job for Kia.

There is too much camouflage which does not give us opportunity to see the details. Though, the LED taillights of different styling were noticed. The third side window is probably a little larger and indicates that the vehicle’s cabin is more spacious.

There is no much information about the Equus, but some reports state that it will be sold with a four-wheel drive system for the first time. Hyundai’s first-rate offering will probably be launched for sale as a 2016 MY, therefore it disclosing might happen sometime in the second part of 2015. There are no official details now, but a preview concept might be presented this April at the Auto Show in New York.
