Details about BMW X7 appeared

New information about BMW’s coming-soon flagship SUV appeared.

If to believe a source from Spanish Motor.es, the innovated SUV will be equipped with the identical rear-wheel drive HPLC platform as the coming-soon 7 Series and all the other automaker’s rear-drive cars. Just s in the next 7 Series, the lightweight construction of architecture (which is a combination of aluminium, carbon fibber reinforced plastic and magnesium) will help the vehicle to lose some weight.

The powerplant range will expand to a base twin-scroll V6 petrol engine, diesel variants and a range-topping twelve-cylinder. Probably, the X5 and X6 will share most of the suspension components with the car.

Assembly of the model is planned at the company’s Spartanburg, S.C. facility. The rest of the producer’s utility car manufacturing is based. The automaker invested $1 billion into the factory which will enhance its capacity by 50% to 450,000 vehicles annually, clearing the way for innovated three-row X7.
