A Whole Picture of 2016 Hyundai Elantra

Our spy paparazzi managed to snap several images of the next-gen Hyundai Elantra sedan during the vehicle’s testing.

The restyled Elantra’s design will remind the updated 2015 Sonata and Genesis. The vehicle will gain more angular outlook which is also previewed by the renewed 2016 Elantra GT.

Currently there are two available engines: a 1.8-litre and 2.0-litre V4. One of them may be used in the 2016 model. The Elantra might receive a 1.6-litre turbocharged V4 joined to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. These features will give an opportunity to offer a more fuel efficient option. By the way, the same powerplant equips the Sonata Eco.

The interior design also reminds of the bigger Sonata. At the same time we can have a look at the latest variant of Hyundai’s infotainment system in the centre stack. The restyled vehicle will probably have a little bit more space inside the cabin than the current one. Meanwhile, the advance safety options will grow.

Expect the 2016 Elantra to be unveiled later in 2015. The model will reach America at the beginning of 2016.
