A High-End Genesis Brand might be launched by Hyundai

Reuters assure that Hyundai will transform the Genesis into a full brand of high-end cars.

The range will contain a coming-soon crossover of middle-size, a variant of the Hyundai Equuis with a new name and the current Hyundai Genesis. This future brand reminds of Honda developing its Acura counterpart or Toyota creating the Lexus high-end brand.

Official details will come out very soon. According to the existing report, the decision is not solid as American executives are not sold on it. The vehicles will probably still be marketed at the automaker’s dealerships.

The Korean producer has not taken this decision for years. Though, the pressure of foreign high-end companies being marketed in their native country influenced the move under consideration.
