2016 MX-5 from Mazda costs $24,950

The innovated 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata will kick off from $24,950.

The cost of the new vehicle was announced on Live With Kelly And Mihael. It was kind of a part of auto show week. There was no any more information revealed.

As far as it is known, it is possible to obtain a base MX-5 for $24,950. The vehicle is equipped with a 2.0-litre V4 engine generating 155 hp and torque of 148 lb-ft. The engine will probably be joined to a six-speed manual gear box. Curb weight for the innovated vehicle states at 2,332 lbs for the manual model.

Compare the model with the 2015 Scion FR-S which costs $25, 670.

The automaker will present the most hardcore variant of the 2016 MX-5 at the Auto Show in New York this week. The model is named The Club Edition.
