2016 BMW 5-Series Render from RM Design

The next-gen BMW 5-Series Sedan is scheduled to see the world towards the end of the next year. It inspired new renders of RM Design.

If you prefer new 7-Series, you will probably enjoy the 2016 5-Series (G30). These two cars will be very similar in styling. RM Design presented his vision of the latest mid-size Bavarian sedan. Besides, he developed the digital illustrations. The 7-Series and a whole bunch of spy photos with prototypes of the coming-soon 5 in them were used.

The vehicles will have the same CLAR platform. It looks like it will make the vehicle 220 lbs (100 kg) lighter. Besides, the cars will share the same components. The digital dashboard is among them.

The 5-Series Touring variant (G31) will come out in a few months after the sedan. Besides, the automaker will come up with a new Gran Turismo. Chinese customers are looking forward to this offering while Europeans do not seem to be so excited about it. Probably, it is because of the rear end of the vehicle.

Finally, the company stated that some of the 5-Series production cars are going to be externalized to Austria at Magna Steyr’s plant.
