Next Advent of Volkswagen Jetta Especially for New York Show

Alternations to the current model might not be seen to the untrained eye, yet 2015 Jetta managed to gather a number of media appearances before the official presentation.

A lot of design attention was given to the improvement of lighting. Generally the change in this department can be characterized as levelling-up. One of the curious novelties is a headlamp tied to the position of the steering wheel. Numerous additional features are sported by the Jetta now: blind spot and parking sensors, warnings about short distance to the cars in the back and in the front. Powerplant optimization also distinguishes the upcoming VW release: diesel propulsion making 150 hp will need nearly 45 mpg outside rural areas. Considering these figures, Jetta is a modest upgrade compared to the current variants.

Other positions in the engine array will stay the same, yet they also await a quality modification to achieve higher aerodynamics and tyre resistance characteristics. Three other engines will be presented: V4 for 2.0 and 1.8 litres, petrol and supercharged correspondingly, and a hybrid one with the displacement of 1.4 litres. A wide range of 2015 Jetta modifications will foresee unique elements, such as shutters for the grille and peculiar spoilers.

Interior was also subjected to some alternations. They include a new trim variant and leather of another kind. Full specifics will be presented by the brand when wraps are taken off the new Jetta in New York in a few days.
