Hybrid Variant of Hyundai Sonata Postponed

Waiting period extends for those eager to get a hold on Hyundai Sonata hybrid.

If shipment of next-generation Hyundai Sonata goes according to plans, hybrid modification will appear not earlier than in last months of 2014. Thus, hybrid power adherents will have to deal with 2015 model and get a renovated variant in two years.

After longer waiting customers opting for the next Sonata hybrid will get a bonus of more effective fuel consumption, judging from the already seen advantages of the standard 2015 working on conventional fuel. Automatic transmission for six speeds with a 2.4 litre engine show 25 MPG within city borders and 12 more outside it. More compact turbo offering secures somewhat less figures, but an Eco modification manages to return 28 and 38 MPG, respectively.

Concerning the outgoing hybrid from Hyundai, it lasts for 36 MPG within urban borders and 4 MPG more on a public road.
