Electronaut Edition from BMW Undergoes Limited Release

Only the luckiest ones will have the privilege for long-awaited fully EV from BMW.

BMW i3 Electronaut Edition is officially presented and available to a part of ActiveE Electronauts audience.

The name of the latter might come as unknown to the majority of auto fans. There are 700 people united by this status, and all of them became lessees of German brand’s ActiveE.

Wider release of i3 will be conducted in a while. Buyers opting for the limited edition will enjoy front seats with a heater, effective charging mechanism and an entire range of distinguishing symbols like badges, custom mats, special license plates and even some embroidered elements in the cab.

Retail price of Electronaut kit for the vehicle totals $1,750, but members of ActiveE Electronaut programme will get it for free.
