Details of BMW X7 to be Revealed Soon

A press conference dedicated to the future SUV will be gathered by the German carmaker on the last March Saturday.

The production location of the upcoming model has already been announced: SUV for seven passengers will become a part of manufacturing plan of crossover site in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Addition of another model will make it possible for the factory to increase its output.

It also became known that X7 will set a new size record for company’s crossovers. The brand has decided to engineer and advertise the car in view of the American focus group. Further marketing specifics will be reviewed at the press conference at greater lengths. 50,000-unit production extension plans will embrace not only the upcoming utility vehicle. BMW plans to delegate construction of other current models to the new factory. For instance, a lot of customers have queued up for the X5, which makes it a possible candidate for Spartanburg assembly lines.

The history of X7 goes back to the crisis-struck 2008 when a lot of industry sectors, including car making, struggled for life. It is only after the stabilization of economics that the company ventured for implementing the old idea. Not only BMW decided to return to large cars: fellow-country Volkswagen also made a decision to expand their line-up.
