BMW X5 M and X6 M of 2015 Debuted at the Auto Show in Los Angeles

The BMW X5 M and X6 M of 2015 were presented to the whole world at the Auto Show in Los Angeles this week.

Two of the most viewy production models were shown off at the Auto Show in Los Angeles. These are the BMW X5 M and X6 M. Both of the models have a 4.4-litre eight-cylinder twin-turbo powerplant. It can produce 567 hp (or 423 kW) along with the torque of 553 lb-ft (or 750 Nm). These SUVs of high performance gained a four-wheel drive which gets the powertrain’s power from an M Steptronic transmission of eight speeds. It gives a possibility for the duo to sprint 62 mph (or 100 km/h) in just 4.2 seconds. The electronically restricted top speed is 155 mph (or 250 km/h).

The vehicles gained large 21-inch alloy wheels which are enveloped around in Michelin Pilot Super Sport UHP auto-tyre casing. The models have aggressive bodies characterized by ventilated front wings, back diffuser and a threatening quad exhaust piping. A big amount of M goodies can be found inside the cabin, for example, an aluminium trim, a helm, door sill plates, an audio system from Harman Kardon and a four-zone climate controlling.

The sales of the models will start next spring in America. The initial price will be at $99,650 for the X5 M. In the same time the X6 M will start at $103,050. Choosing the X6 m the customers will obtain a car of high performance which is as fast around the famous racing track Nürburgring Nordschleife as the M3 Coupe (E92).
