A Closer Look at BMW X4
Test drive of the prototype of the crossover turned into a spy photo session revealing a more detailed image of the vehicle.
It was last April that X4 concept became a guarantee of the production version of small crossover from BMW. The prototype of the car with scarce disguise caught by cameras of paparazzi turned out to have borrowed a lot from the X6 model and, obviously, the concept under the same name. Parallels can also be drawn with the previous premiere of the carmaker – X3. The new vehicle differs from it due to coupe-oriented body and a massive front dash board with large air intakes.
The range of engines is expected to repeat the one of the X3. Car assembly will be conducted at the South Carolina site of the company. Depending on the quickness of production process, the new BMW might appear either in two months or this autumn.
It is likely that the brand will continue with the X models. 2017 might become the debut year of X2 inspired by the second generation of X1 and following the pattern of X4 and X6 relations.
