Style is Principal for Atlantis Blue JP Version Genesis Coupe

Hyundai has just uncovered its 4th vehicle bound for this year’s SEMA Event in Las Vegas: a specially-modified Genesis Coupe.

Constructed in cooperation by Hyundai and tuner John Pangilinan, the vehicle sets a special emphasis on its striking paint color. Taking its place beside the hopped-up 1000-hp Genesis Coupe that will also be at this year’s event, the “Atlantis Blue JP Version Genesis Coupe” looks nothing short of tame.

Surely, it’s also been upgraded with performance parts as well. It receives a cold air intake, turbo downpipe and performance exhaust. Hyundai didn’t clarify what the presumably marginal power gains associated with the bolt-on parts would be.

A coil-over suspension will enhance handling while reducing ride height. Sway bars and a performance strut bar also went toward enhancing handling.

Moreover, there are also 19-inch wheels with performance tires that also include a Brembo brake set with 15-inch calipers.

Cabin upgrades feature Recaro sport seats and racing harnasses. Additionally, there’s a GoPro Hero 3 video camera installed inside the car to capture in-car footage. The stereo system is also gutted and substituted with a long list of aftermarket parts featuring a pair of 10-inch subwoofers, a fresh head unit and speakers.
