Mazda MX-5 GT Goes on Sale

The Mazda MX-5 GT first noticed during the Goodwood Festival of Speed will be offered soon.

Mazda’s roadster already directs a cult following of drivers who love its low cost, high fun value offer. The tuned variant won’t be available through Mazda, but rather as a kit to be installed after production by Jota Sport. The automaker estimates that featuring the cost of the vehicle, cleints will spend around £30,500, which converts to approximately $49,000 in the U.S.

For that price, the vehicle receives a refreshed suspension, sports exhaust and an ECU tweak that raise horsepower from the U.K. spec 2.0-liter 4 cylinder from 158 hp to 204.

It is still veiled if the kit will be available in the U.S. or what the price would be, although there’s a high probability that it would be less expensive here than there.
